Friday 14 October:
We’ve been made aware of water issues affecting people across the Borough.
We believe this has been caused by works carried out by Thames Water on Wednesday evening to lower water pressure. Unfortunately, this has significantly impacted our residents at Norton House.
What are we doing?
We’re working with Thames Water to get this issue resolved as soon as possible. Since our report, Thames Water has sent an emergency contractor to provide a solution. The issue has been escalated to a Senior Manager.
We’ve been advised that Thames Water has increased the pressure but it may take until Monday to fully restore.
In the meantime, our team are providing an emergency supply of bottled water to the building. If this runs out, residents are asked to call our emergency out of hours line on 020 7780 3070.
What can you do?
Some residents will have intermittent access to water, but it will be very low pressure. Please be considerate of your water use during this time.
If you have any concerns, it’s best to contact Thames Water directly on 0800 316 9800.
