THCH welcomes three new Board Members

THCH is proud to announce the appointment of Jamie Ratcliff, Mark Kent, and Natasha Roberts to its Board. Each brings valuable experience, a strong commitment to community, and a shared vision for improving the lives of residents in Tower Hamlets.

Jamie Ratcliff, Chief Communities & Sustainability Officer for SNG (Sovereign Network Group), joins THCH at a crucial time. With almost twenty years’ experience in housing in the public and not-for-profit sectors, Jamie will help THCH continue its mission to create places people are proud to call home. As a local resident, Jamie is passionate about his new role:

“I'm delighted to join the Board of THCH at a pivotal time in our history. As an East London resident, I care deeply about providing affordable homes to the people of Tower Hamlets. I look forward to using my skills and experience to support a new partnership to ensure we can continue to deliver locally responsive services to our residents.” - Jamie Ratcliff  - Board Member

Natasha Roberts brings 13 years of experience in housing operations. With a BSc and MSc in Housing Policy and Practice, and as a Chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH), Natasha is passionate about inclusion and resident engagement. She is dedicated to giving back to the community:

"I'm really excited to join THCH, especially with all the changes happening in the regulatory and legal landscape right now. I've lived in Tower Hamlets and feel a strong urge to give back to the community. Ever since I chose housing as my career at 18, I've been driven by the desire to make a real difference in people's lives. I'm looking forward to using my experience and skills to help us achieve operational excellence, build strong communities, and meet the needs of our residents." Natasha Roberts - Board Member

Mark Kent, Deputy CEO of Local Space, also joins the Board with over 20 years of experience in affordable housing. Mark’s expertise in strategic leadership and innovation will be vital for THCH’s growth and community service:

"THCH's commitment to community engagement and strategic improvement aligns with my professional values. I look forward to collaborating with the Board and Executive Team to enhance service delivery and positively impact the communities we serve. I will help steer THCH through its next phase of growth, focusing on strategic leadership, operational improvements, and regulatory compliance. My goal is to enhance resident satisfaction and community welfare while exploring innovative housing solutions for the diverse needs of Tower Hamlets’ residents.” - Mark Kent - Board Member
