THCH Powered by Hyde: Local at heart, stronger together

We’re excited to share that THCH has officially joined the Hyde Group. Built on shared commitment to invest in better homes, strengthen our communities, and improve services, this partnership means we can do more and be more for customers.
Our new brand - THCH Powered by Hyde - reflects the best of both worlds: maintaining local roots and community connections alongside growth, stability, and new opportunities.
Our customers were an important part of shaping this partnership. We reached out through emails, text messages, letters, leaflets, videos, and face-to-face engagement to hear their thoughts. 249 customers (8%) from 95 residential blocks (50%) shared their feedback, and 68% responded positively or neutrally about the partnership.
We’ve made clear commitments to deliver safe and decent homes, great services, strong communities, and a real voice for customers. Some of the key improvements we will make include:
- A new dedicated ‘in-house’ repairs service for customers , ensuring quicker and more reliable fixes
- More investment in homes, shared spaces, communities, and building safety projects.
- A continued local presence, with a team that knows their community and is accessible to customers, with greater understanding and additional resource through Hyde’s neighbourhood’s model.
- Access to better support and advice services, that reflect individual needs.
- Investment in community centres to offer more support and inclusive services that meet customers’ needs.
- A real voice for customers, where we listen and act on feedback to continually improve.
- Building new homes local people need, including social housing.
Andy Hulme, Group Chief Executive of The Hyde Group, said:
I am really pleased to welcome THCH customers and colleagues to the Group.
We’re excited about the future. For us, success is about working closely with our customers and community to make a real difference, listening to and acting on their feedback so we can continually improve. That’s the heart of THCH Powered by Hyde. We’re committed to making improvements quickly, but thoughtfully, with our teams already working hard behind the scenes to create meaningful change.
David Russell, THCH Board Chair, said:
Over the past few years, THCH has been through real transformation – we’ve improv ed our services, strengthe ned building safety, and built a more positive internal culture. We’ve made great progress, and we’re pleased to have found the right partner to build on this work.
Joining the Hyde Group is a major milestone. It gives us the resources, investment, and expertise to do even more for our customers , while staying true to the community-focused values that make THCH special.
I want to thank everyone who’s played a part in this journey - especially our outgoing CEO, Anita Khan, whose leadership has left a lasting and positive mark on the organisation. I’d also like to thank Mark Thrasher for his time as Board Chair. His guidance, commitment, and steady leadership have been instrumental in getting us to this point.
As the local THCH Board, our role will be to ensure this partnership delivers on its promise and that the benefits for customers and the community are fully realised as we begin to integrate with Hyde.
