THCH and the Hyde Group exploring community-focused partnership
Today we have announced that we are in early conversations with London-rooted housing association, the Hyde Group, about creating a partnership that will bring stability and opportunity to do more for residents and the Tower Hamlets community.
THCH: Powered by Hyde means that THCH will keep its local roots, deep knowledge, and trusted community presence, while benefiting from Hyde’s strong foundations and resilience.
The aim of this partnership is to do even more of what residents have told us matters - safe and decent homes, great services, and strong communities, all tied together with a real voice in how things work. This includes commitments to:
- Offer a dedicated in-house repairs team
- Speed up investments in homes, community spaces, and building safety works
- Keep a local team that knows and is available to the community through a local office
- Provide a more personalised support and advice service
- Improve community centres with more funding for better services
- Give residents a stronger voice in decisions
- Help build new homes, including affordable housing for local people
We’re asking residents for their thoughts on the partnership as part of a six-week consultation.
