Here to Hear is back!
Earlier this year, all colleagues, including our CEO and Board Members, visited our residents to hear first-hand about their experiences and where we could make improvements.
Since then, our Here to Hear initiative has played an important role in shaping our future. It was only by listening to our residents that we were able to launch our new strategy to create places people are proud to call home. Our CEO, Anita Khan, said:
“We gained a real insight into what our priorities should be to improve our services and deliver better value. After visiting over 300 residents, it was clear there is a strong sense of community. People living in Tower Hamlets are proud; it’s one of the most diverse, energic and fastest growing places in the UK.
“We’re proud to be here too. We’re a local landlord, and we care about our community. We’ll continue to listen and invest where it’s needed most. And our people will play an important role too - we want to inspire them and attract more talented staff to do what’s right for our residents.”
We’re pleased to say that Here to Hear is back! Next week (31 October - 4 November), we’ll be back out in our communities to hear what impact our improvements have had so far, and what more residents would like to see from our repairs offer. This time, we'll be visiting residents who rent their homes in Bethnal Green.
Every one of our colleagues plays a part in creating places people are proud to call home. And it’s only by visiting and listening to our residents that we can bring real, long-lasting improvements to Tower Hamlets.
