Financial support sessions
Meet with our income team to discuss any financial and/or arrears matters you need support with. Whether you're looking to understand your rent account or to clear your arrears, our team is here to assist you in person.
Starting 26 June, sessions will be held every Wednesday at our THCH office on 285 Commercial Road (E1 2PS). Morning and evening slots are available between 8:30-9:30 AM and 4.30-6:30 PM. Simply email income.recovery.team@thch.org.uk to book your appointment. In a sentence or two, let us know in your email what you would like resolved by us.
Once your appointment slot is confirmed, you will meet with a member of our income team at our office who will assist you with your query. These sessions are tailored to provide arrear resolutions for all residents, with a particular focus on those who:
- Need guidance on understanding their rent and service charge account.
- Often receive letter 1, letter 2 or broken arrangement letters.
- Have received correspondence from court regarding, for example, an eviction date or court hearing date, claim form, money judgement etc.
- Have received a notice seeking possession.
- Have received a breach of court order letter.
- Support or advice with claiming Discretionary Housing Benefit, Personal Independence payment, dealing with utility arrears such as water, resolving a benefit problem or getting a benefit check completed etc.
